A family favorite, these Turkey Stuffed Peppers are filled with nutritious ground turkey, rice, and savory tomato sauce, making them a simple and satisfying meal.

  • 4 Bell peppers
  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 1 cup Rice, cooked
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet until translucent.
  4. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice and tomato sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Stuff the prepared bell peppers with the turkey mixture and top generously with cheese.
  7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, removing the foil in the last 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
