Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Lemon
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Sear the salmon skin-side down in the skillet for 4-6 minutes.
  4. Flip the salmon using a spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice over the top of the salmon.
  6. Serve the salmon immediately, alongside your choice of sides.

Notes

Searing skin-side down ensures crispy skin. Don’t crowd the pan for an even cook.
