A simple yet exquisite dish of juicy shrimp sautéed in lemon and garlic butter, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp and add the lemon zest.
  6. Toss everything together and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
