A simple yet satisfying dish of fish fillets sautéed in buttery lemon goodness, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

  • 2 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or salmon)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until frothy.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Season the fish fillets generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Cook the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until opaque and flaky.
  5. Pour the lemon juice and sprinkle the zest over the fish in the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
