A quick and easy recipe for Korean Beef Bowls that’s filled with bold flavors and comforting aromas, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle in the brown sugar, mixing well and simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over warm rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
