A delightful and easy-to-make Honey Garlic Salmon recipe that perfectly balances sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
  2. Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic mixture over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Arrange in the baking dish: Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin side down, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake the salmon: Slide the baking dish into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, and serve with lemon wedges and freshly chopped green onions.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the salmon; it should be moist and just cooked through. Feel free to replace honey with maple syrup for a different flavor.
