Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly, flank steak or sirloin)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinating the Beef: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create the marinade for the beef. Add sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Sautéing Aromatics: In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil, then add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir-Frying the Broccoli: Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Combining Beef and Broccoli: Return the beef to the pan and mix it with the broccoli. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
